Have you ever got the idea that Texas hold'em is a skill game? The most important skill in Texas hold 'em is the ability to judge how strong or weak a particular starting hand is. With this skill at your disposal, you will have more than half the battle won. If you do such, then you will be on your way to becoming the winner of the poker game. Same as how other gamblers does, make sure you know how to make your move, when to fold'em and when to hold'em.

One thing to get into your head right away is the fact that 85% of the starting hole cards you receive will be complete garbage. As many should also know this, otherwise you will be missing out the biggest part of the game strategy. 85% of the starting hands you receive will be complete and utter garbage. Texas fold'em as every poker professional player knows. While you know how to fold 85% of the cards, it will mean you can be possibly winning the game. The strategy can come impossible for most of poker players since they are born gamblers. Learning to discipline yourself this way helps you be on top of the rest of your competitors at the table.

Because it is said that 85% of your hands cannot be used during the game, keep your focus on how to divide the 15% left. These hands can be broken down into three main areas. The following are the strong hands, the hopeful hands and the premium hands.

Premium hands are the hands that you will see nearly every flop with. The order of the hands are the following: AA, KK, QQ, JJ, AK s, AQ s, TT, and AK. The best and should be used is the premium hands in which you should be having in your pocket. They don't come around that often, so make sure that you make money when you have them. Play it as aggressively as you can at 95% of the time though you can also grab the chance of slowing down.

Strong hands is the next category of the starting hands, and this is the very difficult category of hands to learn to play poker ver very well. In this case, the order of power is AJ s, KQ s, 99, AT s, AQ, KJ s, 88, QJ s, KT s, Ax s, and AJ. To raise to pre-flop, use these hands. By these hands, you can go after people who are holding garbage and sense what other players are holding as well. Such hands can attack your own stack. If you get a player that raises you back aggressively after the flop, you need to be prepared to throw these hands into the muck.

The hopeful hands are the hands that you will call up to a 3x BB raise pre-flop. At pair from 2s to 7s comes these hands and can suite some connectors lacking the face card. You must flop a monster or a draw with these cards to play them after the flop.
